## 🎱 League Match Format – 9 Ball
All League Stage matches will be played in **9 Ball**.
Each matchup between two players will consist of exactly **6 tables (6 games)**.
**All 6 tables must be played**, regardless of the score.
There is no need for a tiebreak during the League Stage.
---
## 📊 League Points System
The League standings will be based on **tables won**, not simply on match wins.
### ⭐ 1 Table Won = 1 Point
Every table a player wins gives them **1 point in the League standings**.
Therefore, every League matchup distributes a total of **6 points** between the two players.
### Examples
**Player A 6–0 Player B**
Player A → **6 points**
Player B → **0 points**
**Player A 5–1 Player B**
Player A → **5 points**
Player B → **1 point**
**Player A 4–2 Player B**
Player A → **4 points**
Player B → **2 points**
**Player A 3–3 Player B**
Player A → **3 points**
Player B → **3 points**
A **3–3 result is allowed during the League Stage**. There will be no extra game or tiebreak.
---
## 🏆 League Standings
The primary classification criterion will be the **total number of points (tables won)** accumulated throughout the League Stage.
This means that **every table matters**.
Even if a player loses a matchup **5–1**, the table they won still gives them **1 point** toward the League standings.
Example:
After several matches:
| Player | Played | Tables Won | Tables Lost | Points |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| Player A | 5 | 22 | 8 | **22** |
| Player B | 5 | 19 | 11 | **19** |
| Player C | 5 | 16 | 14 | **16** |
| Player D | 5 | 14 | 16 | **14** |
The players with the highest number of points will occupy the highest positions in the League.
---
## ⚔️ Qualification to the Knockout Stage
The final League standings will determine both **who qualifies** and the **Knockout Stage seeding**.
### Example – 8 Players
With **8 players**, the **Top 4** advance:
**1st × 4th**
**2nd × 3rd**
The winners advance to the Final.
### Example – 16 Players
With **16 players**, the **Top 8** advance:
**1st × 8th**
**2nd × 7th**
**3rd × 6th**
**4th × 5th**
### Two Groups
When the championship has **Group A and Group B**, qualification will use cross-group seeding.
Example with the **Top 8 from each group** qualifying:
**1st A × 8th B**
**2nd A × 7th B**
**3rd A × 6th B**
**4th A × 5th B**
**1st B × 8th A**
**2nd B × 7th A**
**3rd B × 6th A**
**4th B × 5th A**
This means that performing well throughout the League Stage is important, because the final position directly determines the player's opponent in the Knockout Stage.
